Description

After record highs in the mid to upper 70’s yesterday a cold front moving through this morning associated with an upper-level trough progressing eastward through the day, will result in cooler highs in the lower 60’s and breezy north winds. Tomorrow highs will drop into the upper 50’s, but still well above normal for early December. Sunday, another quick moving low-pressure system will move through the Eastern Dakotas and sink reinforcing cooler air south into the Tri-state region with breezy north, dropping temps another 10-20-degrees for Sunday and Monday. Next week the weather pattern becomes a little more active with a couple disturbances moving out of the Rockies Tuesday and later in the week Friday and Saturday, keeping colder air over the Central US and maybe even talk of snow.
