Grace Will Lead Me Home - Jon Bickley's project diary2

<p>In March 2023 Jon Bickley met up with Angeline Morrison and Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne. They stayed togther in Dartmouth House in Olney, once owned by the Earl of Dartmouth, the man who gave John Newton his first clerical position, that of Curate in Charge at St.Peter and St.Paul's church (Olney). </p> <p>Together Angeline, Cohen and Jon researched Newton's life, the history and meaning of Amazing Grace and the transatlantic slave trade, with tremendous support and guidance from the Cowper & Newton Museum. </p> <p>We talked, sang and performed for the camera. Here is Jon's personal diary of that time.</p>
