Description

The scripture this week is from Genesis 37:2 and it says, “These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was pasturing the flock with his brothers. He was a boy with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father's wives. And Joseph brought a bad report of them to their father.” Even though Joseph was outnumbered, he refused to be lured into unrighteousness, instead he held himself accountable to God and those God has set over him. Joseph's choice is an example of godly differentiation - a purposeful determination to please God even when in the minority. Let us pray for this grace over our children, a resolve to stand out for Jesus.
