<p>Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has approved the release of ₦2,737,603 billion to construct seventy-five (75) Junior and Secondary Schools across all 34 Local Government Areas of Katsina State.</p>, <p>A statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the Katsina Governor, said the gesture was one of his campaign promises to boost education in the state.</p>, <p>According to the statement, the amount represents 20 percent initial advance payment to the contractors.</p>, <p>To this end, the governor authorized the contractors to complete the entire project within 12 weeks.</p>, <p>The construction is being supported by the World Bank AGILE Project, which is also aimed at enhancing secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls in the state.</p>, <p>“Without a doubt, this capital project will significantly boost education in Katsina State,” Kaula Mohammed quoted the Governor</p>
