Gospel of Mark - Mark 5:1-6 - Prog 25

We now come into chapter 5 of the Gospel of Mark. We will be reading and studying the first 6 verses. Dr. Mitchell brings out the fact that a dominate note in this gospel is Jesus casting out of demons. The Gospel of Mark seems to demonstrate the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ to cast out demons. He still has that authority to this day. By His resurrection and ascension and exaltation to the right hand of God, angels, authorities, and powers have been made subject to HIM. He is exalted far above all principality, power and might and dominion. Jesus is Lord of all. Dr. Mitchell warns about an evil device used today to invite demonic activity into one’s life.
