Gospel of Mark - Mark 15:38-47 - Prog 77

<p>We continue in <strong>Mark 15 verses 38-47</strong>. Here our Lord, having died, Mark records that the veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom.<br> This points to its divine origin. This veil was at least 4” thick and very heavy.</p> <p>Our Lord died crying out with a loud voice, not a weak one. The roman centurion, in seeing and hearing Him, made this confession “Truly, this man was the Son of God”. <br> <br> How did this soldier hear that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?</p> <p>Later in this passage, we see Joseph of Arimathea, asking for the body of Jesus in order to bury Jesus in his own new tomb.</p> <p>This is also recorded in Matthew 27:57-60.</p> <p>Our Lord’s burial fulfilled Isaiah 53:9 He “was with a rich man in His death..”</p> <p>In Mark 15:38, here is Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.</p> --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
