Gospel of Mark - Mark 14:26-41 - Prog 70

<p>Now in Mark 14:26-41 Mark shows us Jesus and His disciples in the garden of Gesthsemane below the Mount of Olives. </p><p> Here our Lord gives to His disciples the Scripture from Zechariah 13:7 that the shepherd will be struck and the sheep would be scattered. But He gives them this hope, that after He is raised He would go before them into Galilee. </p><p> Here Peter voices his allegiance to the Lord Jesus in all earnestness. And Jesus tells Peter of Peter's coming denial. </p><p> According to Luke 22:31-32 Jesus prayed for Peter’s faith that it would not fail.
