Gospel of Mark - Mark 14:1-3 - Prog 66

<p> This study begins in Mark 14 verse 1. Dr. Mitchell gives a short overview of the chapter before going into the first three verses. </p><p> Right away we read of the plot of the rulers of the people against Jesus, to put Him to death. But they did not want to do this during the feast which might cause an uproar among the people who were there. </p><p> Dr. Mitchell points out that Jesus set the time of His death and the manner of His death. He was in control of His fulfilling what was written of Him in the Scriptures. </p><p> We then hear a short overview of the next verses about Jesus in Bethany. </p><p> Let’s open our Bible to Mark 14:1.
