Gospel of Mark - Mark 13:24-26 - Prog 63

<p>In Mark 13 we look at verses 24-26. In these 3 verses, Jesus speaks of the time after the tribulation. Here He describes the disruption of the heavens including the sun, the moon, stars and the powers of heaven. It will be a time of deep dark blackness. </p><p> At the culmination of this period of time, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will come from heaven as the Son of Man, coming in the clouds with great power and glory. His will be a bright and unmistakeable display of His glory. No one on earth, in seeing Him, can avoid Him. </p><p> In verse 27, Jesus will send forth His angels to collect His elect Jewish believers to Himself wherever they are scattered. </p><p> Let’s turn to Mark 13:24 with Dr. Mitchell to hear Jesus’ words concerning His coming again.
