Description

In Mark 11:20-26 we are covering two topics. One has to do with the prayer of faith. Also when one is praying there is to also be a forgiving heart.

Dr. Mitchell explains the meaning of the fig tree as being the nation of Israel. But in contrast to the unbelieving nation, Jesus tells His disciples to have faith in God, literally, have faith of God.

Romans 10:18 says faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the word of God, or of Christ. Dr. Mitchell gives several passages dealing with praying to God with requests. He points out the motivation for one’s prayer. Is it for God’s glory in the Son?

Dr. Mitchell then proceeds to the matter of forgiveness one with another.

Let’s turn to Mark 11:20. Here is Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast
--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
