Gospel of Mark - Mark 10:35-45 - Prog 51

<p>The Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast is in the Gospel of Mark chapter 10. We will be looking at verses 35 thru 45. In these 10 verses, Mark presents Jesus’ response to the requests of James and John.</p. <p>What did they request? They wanted Jesus to place each of them next to Himself, one on the right hand and one of left hand in His glory.</p> <p>And we read that the other 10 disciples were miffed at James and John by asking first.</p> <p>So here the Lord Jesus speaks to all His disciples of humble service and ministry stating whoever wants to be first, must be slave of all, giving Himself as the premiere example.</p> <p>Let’s turn to Mark 10:35 as Dr. Mitchell shares Jesus’ response to what these two disciples were asking of Him.
