Good, Grow, Great! ”Failure” as feedback!

<p>Ep #190 - There is no failure, there is only feedback. This is a rule of life I learned in my neuro linguistic programming training. Failure doesn't actually exist. It's a judgement placed on an outcome and is very subjective to each individuals perspective.</p> <p>One person's "failure" is another person's "success." Getting up before noon might be a "failure" to someone who eats 10Ks before sunrise and is a huge "success" for someone who is detoxing or experiencing depression.</p> <p>A more beneficial perspective to experience after anything you do is to shift the judgement of it as good or bad, because that is you deciding whether the outcome achieved your predetermined expectations, and instead asking yourself these three questions.</p> <p>Where did I do good?</p> <p>Where can I grow?</p> <p>What was great about this experience?</p> <p>When you choose to use this method instead of the human mind's knee-jerk reaction to focus on the "bad" you open yourself up to the growth that comes from each and every circumstance you experience.
