<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (07/11/21)</strong></p> <p><strong>God’s family: 1 John 2 12-14</strong></p> <p>1. <strong>The Introduction:</strong> Which family do we belong to: God’s family or satan’s family?</p> <p>1.1 <strong>Big Idea:</strong> Here are three things in 1 John ch2 vv12-14 to remind us that we belong to God’s family (12-14)</p> <p>2. The first thing is: our sins are forgiven (12)</p> <p>3. The second thing is: we have come to know God (13)</p> <p>4. The third thing is: we have overcome satan through the word which is in us (14)</p> <p>5. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> the exhortation: These three things that we have looked at from 1 John ch2 vv12-14 to remind us that we belong to God’s family – may we take comfort in them that we belong (12-14)</p> <p><strong>Reflection:</strong> Do you belong to God’s family or satan’s family? Do you believe that if your sins are forgiven you belong to God’s family? Do you believe that if you have come to know God you belong to God’s family? Do you believe that if you have overcome satan through the word that is in you, you belong to God’s family?
