Gloves are off between Facebook and the Australian government

<p>From the BBC World Service: Facebook has threatened to stop users in Australia from sharing news content if the government there introduces a law forcing the social media platform to pay publishers for their articles. And, as the U.K. government&#8217;s furlough scheme for workers hit by the pandemic begins to wind down, there&#8217;s warnings it could lead to a tidal wave of job losses.</p>
