When I was ready, I went to say goodnight, but they were both asleep and the tv was still on. His father liked to have the television on while sleeping so I turned it down a tad as it was right outside the bedroom, I was about to sleep in. I lied down on the bed and got comfortable under the blankets. I closed my eyes, and it must have only been a few minutes later that I felt like there was a person on top of me holding me down by my arms and legs. I remember not being able to move at all. I couldn't make a sound and I couldn't open my eyes. I could hear everything around me the cars outside, the tv still playing, I didn't feel like I was asleep, but I still couldn't open my eyes no matter how hard I tried.
