<p>By now, you’ve probably heard of Galentine’s Day…but did you know it was started in 2010 by a show called Parks and Recreation? Much like the catching on of the show’s hit phrase, <em>treat yo self,</em> Galentine’s Day began to rise in popularity every Valentine’s Day Eve thereafter. Leslie Knope said, “[Galentine’s Day is} like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas.” Ladies celebrating ladies, female friendships at the forefront.
