Funkier Radio Episode 71 - Discoholics Anonymous 2 Showcase Mix

Episode 71 was my last one of 2021, and I ended the year in funky style. Kept things eclectic as I try to, had some down and dirty funkers, some vintage funk, a fair smattering of edits and a couple of new ones from yours truly. In place of hour 2’s usual guest mix I instead bring you a very special showcase of the fabulous Discoholics Anonymous 2 compilation that was released earlier in December. Label boss Discoholic Ken very kindly invited me to record a mix of all the tracks to go up on the Discoholics Soundcloud page, and I was only too happy to oblige. So you’ll hear all 17 tracks in the course of the hour. The mix is in 2 parts - part 1 working upwards from my 100bpm disco chugger of a contribution, and part 2 holding steady at 122bpm to bring you the more uptempo numbers.
