Fuji star Pasuma loses mum

<p>Fuji superstar Wasiu Alabi Odetola, better known as Pasuma, is bereaved after losing his mother.</p>, <p>The artiste announced the passing of Alhaja Adijat kuburat (Iyawo Anobi) Thursday night.</p>, <p>55-year-old Pasuma informed the public in a terse statement on his Instagram account.</p>, <p>“MY JEWEL! I will miss you forever! Words fail me! Rest in power and peace, please watch over me from heaven,” he wrote.</p>, <p>The post generated more than 3,500 comments in an hour, as family, friends, colleagues and fans dropped condolence messages.</p>, <p>Born in Mushin in Lagos State, Pasuma aka Oganla of Fuji grew up in Kwara State and started writing songs in 1984.</p>, <p>The music prodigy, who rose from a humble background to a renowned performer, actor and businessman, was raised by his mother after separation from the father.</p>
