Monday 10th May    Friendship Prayer. 1   Prayer is communicating with God, is not a monologue but a dialogue. The primary purpose of prayer is to fellowship with God.   Let read Ephesians 6:18 (NIV), 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.   Here, Apostle Paul helps us understand that there are different kinds of prayer; the prayer of petition, supplications, intercessions, or deliverance. As much as it is important to understand these different types of prayers, the foundation for effective prayer is learning to spend time with our loving Father and just pouring our hearts out to Him.   When our prayer is focused on the laws and the technicalities of prayer, it becomes a dry, tedious, and boring exercise. Friendship prayer is just about building a love relationship with the Father, it’s about knowing Him, His way, Words, His voice etc. Friendship prayers help to avoid the pitfall of making prayer a religious activity that is devoid of the life and fellowship of God. It helps us to overcome the struggle in the place of prayer where we worry less about what to say because we are enjoying His divine presence. It is the place where we truly enjoy pouring out our heart before Him without limitation.   In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve enjoyed unlimited access to God through relationship, God and man had regular fellowship together. Obviously, that was prayer, God enjoyed the presence of Adam and Eve while they were also learning from God. As this fellowship grew deeper, man became more and more like God. If we truly want to transform our prayer experience, we must take out law and religious order and develop it on the platform of a love relationship where we truly befriend God.   I pray that you will enjoy the tran
