Fraud Prevention after Texas Winter Storm

Repair and rebuild are the two words many Texans are using today after that winter storm ripped through our state, causing heartache, concern, and, for some, broken pipes and water damage. Today FEMA is sounding the alarm; warning scammers may try to capitalize on the disaster that moved into the Lone Star State. Meghan Smolensky with Lone Star Legal Aid joined AARP Texas Prepare to Care Podcast host Charlene Hunter James to talk about scams. They discussed what people should look out for and what they can do to avoid becoming victims of fraud.
