<p><a title="Brigadier general (United States)" href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigadier_general_(United_States)">Brigadier General</a> <strong>Francis Marion</strong> (<abbr title= "circa">c.</abbr> 1732 – February 27, 1795), also known as the "Swamp Fox", was an American military officer, planter, and politician who served during the <a title= "French and Indian War" href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_and_Indian_War">French and Indian War</a> and the <a title= "American Revolutionary War" href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Revolutionary_War">Revolutionary War</a>.
