Our second premiere of the day comes from Indian techno producer Seventh Sea. The Bangalore based producer goes full throttle for his contribution to The Meaning Of Rave’s 5th instalment of their VA series, as he showcases a hardcore singed piece of snarling industrial techno. Hailing from Bangalore, India Seventh Sea is one of the most exciting prospects within the Indian techno scene right now. His deep knowledge of techno has built multi-dimensional palette of soundscapes inside the studio, creating his idiosyncratic flavour of industrial techno. Taking inspiration from deep and textured sounds, Seventh Sea explores the cinematic side of music production, borrowing ideas from composers and various natural sounds. He earned his Audio Engineering degree, specialising in post production. He hones this special skill of his to meld the bridge between techno music and film scoring, which gives him a peculiar edge as an artist. We premiere Seventh Sea’s contribution to The Meaning Of Rave‘s 5th VA release with his track ‘One Night In Paris’. The Indian producer provides a punishing piece of hard-edged industrial techno that is likely to pulverise any dancefloor it touches. Seventh Sea remains complex in his production value as he manipulates sound design approaches expertly, using severe distortion and filtering effects, keeping the groove locked and dynamic yet utterly crushed by growling distortion.
