Four die as bus somersaults on Lagos-Ibadan highway

<p>Four persons died on Sunday as a bus somersaulted along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.</p>, <p>The accident, DAILY POST learnt, occurred around 10am at the Ayetoro portion of the expressway, inbound Lagos.</p>, <p>Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed that the crash involved the Foton bus with registration number, AGL 989 YA</p>, <p>Quoting eyewitnesses, Akinbiyi explained that, “The Foton bus containing 15 passengers had a rear tyre burst while on motion. In the process, the vehicle somersaulted into a ditch.</p>, <p>“All the three men in the vehicle died, including a woman, while the remaining 11 women sustained injuries,” Akinbiyi narrated.</p>, <p>He added that the injured victims were taken to FAMOBIS Hospital, while the dead bodies were taken to the Idera morgue.</p>
