"Forgive... even if they don't repent." This may be the most challenging thing I've said all week long. For some of us, it's already a stretch to forgive people when they apologize. Now to forgive them even when they don't repent? This is not easy, nor is it pretty. It's challenging but it's possible with love and faith. We find an example through our Savior, Jesus, who forgave from the cross, saying “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). There was no repentance, no remorse, yet He forgave. I know what happened to you may seem unforgivable, but I urge you to forgive. Your life depends on it... Your health, your progress and even your forgiveness are awaiting your decision to forgive. Don't wait for an apology, Christ didn't wait for ours while He was on the cross.
