<p>Welcome back to an electro-LIT episode of At Your Own Risk! Ready to sweat? This week, Sarah dips her toes into Dana’s world and tackles the only thing worse than being alive at the gym: dying at the gym.</p><p>Yes, you read that right. And no, this is not an hour-long prank. With a knee injury recently throwing Sarah’s fitness journey off course, she couldn’t help but wonder if her gym-centric fears and anxieties hold any weight. (Get it?) As Dana listens in horror, we learn about a few medical emergencies induced by exercise and diet, also known as Gym Tan Laundrying yourself to death. We also realize that adults should not be in charge, children should not work out so hard they wet their pants, and that both knowing your body and having a workout buddy is vital for survival.</p><p>Lucky for us (very subjective), Sarah then walks us through three horrifying tales of real gym-related deaths based on her intrusive gym fears: Ben Shaw's barbell-induced traumatic asphyxia, killer treadmills, and the mysterious death of Kendrick Johnson. </p><p>Like the show?
