Episode 69 features guest Chaowen Ting, (she/her), Conductor of the Peabody Youth Orchestra, Assistant Conductor of the Augusta Symphony, and founder/creator of "Girls Who Conduct", an organization that provides women, women-identifying, and non-binary conductors with training, mentorship, and professional networking. In this episode, Chaowen and I discuss her path to professional conducting, networking, representation, advocating for new music, and supporting underrepresented communities in their conducting pursuits.
