<p>M&A activity is heating up in the financial sector. We just learned that <strong>Schwab</strong> (NYSE: SCHW) is officially acquiring <strong>TD Ameritrade</strong> (NASDAQ: AMTD) in an all-stock deal, which will create a wealth management powerhouse with more than $5 trillion under management. Separately, <strong>PayPal</strong> (NASDAQ: PYPL) is spending $4 billion to acquire deal-finding platform Honey, which could help enhance the shopping experience for PayPal’s 300 million users.
