<p>Fighting Prayers.3</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have established that fighting prayer is one of the platforms that God has given us to exercise our God given authority to contend and conquer the powers of the enemy. The devil will do everything to ensure that we do not live in the fulness of our inheritance in Christ. Satan will sit and watch us enjoy all the benefits of redemptions; he will do everything possible to prevent you from enjoying these rights. The bible says in Luke 16:16 that we must press our way into the realities of the Kingdom of God, one of the ways in which we press is through fighting prayer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1Timothy 1:18 (GNB),&nbsp;18&nbsp;Timothy, my child, I entrust to you this command, which is in accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as weapons in order to fight well.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Paul was teaching Timothy how to make prophetic words a reality in his life. Prophetic words become practical reality when we take the words of scripture and enforce them through prayers. When the enemy tries to put sickness on your body, you take the words of scriptures and enforce your right to sound health. You must enforce the Word of God in every area of your life that the devil is challenging you, whether business, family, or peace of mind. You enforce what God has spoken about you through His word in fighting prayer, this is the good fight of faith. It must be clear to you that you are not praying to win. You are praying to secure the victory that Christ has already won for you at the Cross.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It’s time to do away with passive Christianity and become intentional and intense in the spirit, fighting prayers will help in this regard.</p> <p><br></p> <p>God bless you.
