He was convicted of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance back in 1993, a non-violent crime, and was sentenced to life in prison. He served 29 years in prison. Thankfully of February 5th, just a few weeks ago, he was released.</p> <p class="">Paul’s story is powerful and shocking. In his run up to getting arrested he was shot in the face.
