Fetal Gastroschisis.

Gastroschisis occurs in about 1 in 1800 births in the US. Does this abdominal wall herniation usually occur to the right or left of the umbilical cord? Is this condition tied to chromosomal/genetic syndrome? What about antepartum fetal surveillance? Is a cesarean birth required?
