Fear & Anger

<p>In today's episode we'll consider the role emotions play in our lives.  What I find fascinating about emotions is that they can completely overpower the fundamental motives that drive our lives.  Our current scientific understanding lists our strongest human motivations as the drive for sex, hunger, and the will to survive.  Nearly as strong for some is the drive to excel at something, the drive to dominate or possess, or the drive to be accepted or have approval. </p> <p>As strong as these drives or motivation may be, they can be easily overcome by emotions.</p>
