FASD Ireland Officially Launch National Hub In Ennis

On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Pat was joined live in studio by Tristan Casson-Rennie who is the Chief Executive Officer of FASD Ireland. Tristan spoke about the launch of FASD Ireland's first national hub which is located in Ennis County Clare. He described Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder by outlining how it is caused and mentioned how Ireland now has the second highest prevalence of FASD globally. He described his frustration with the lack of education and knowledge surrounding FASD which led for him to set up FASD Ireland. Tristan also made reference to the recent €5,000 grant that FASD Ireland have received along with highlighting his ambitions and goals for the future.
