Ex-Kaduna gov, Ramalan Yero resigns from PDP, returns membership card

<p>Former Kaduna State governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.</p>, <p>Yero announced his resignation in a letter addressed to his Kaura Ward Chairman.</p>, <p>The former governor said his resignation takes effect from September 30, 2023.</p>, <p>In the letter, the former governor attached his membership card.</p>, <p>According to Yero: “With grateful to Almighty Allah, I write to extend my sincere greetings and to formally inform you of my decision to leave the Peoples Democratic party.</p>, <p>“In view of this, I hereby tender my resignation as a member of PDP with effect from 30th September.</p>, <p>“Enclosed herewith is my membership card duly returned.”</p>
