He made up for the sin debt that we racked up and stake up against Holy God! Certainly we could not pay this sin debt due to our sinful fallen nature! It took the precious blood of Jesus, the unblemished untainted unadulterated blood of Jesus to wipe our slate clean before the LIVING God! He's our substitute standing in the gap of the broken fellowship that we caused between our Creator. We broke rank! We rebelled! We disobeyed and disappointed! We could not help ourselves out of the path of God's wrath even if we wanted to! We needed Jesus to come from Heaven to this sinful dark vile laden of a world to save us from the bondage of sin! He has redeemed us from the kingdom of darkness. We have been ransomed and transferred by God to the Kingdom of His Son, whom He dearly loves! God's righteous justice demanded payment for sin! Christ Jesus on our behalf paid that payment in full by sacrificing Himself on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood so that sinful man can be reconciled back to the Father. Whereby God's justified and holy wrath would no longer be upon us, as rightly deserved, but Christ Jesus paid our past sin debt in full by lying down His life for us! Christ Jesus was the necessary sin offering that appeased God's anger toward us who sinned continuously against Him and broke His laws. Jesus was the perfect Lamb slain and His sacrifice was accepted by God for payment of sin. God's acceptance was evidence by raising Jesus from the dead. Christ Jesus was sinless and perfect and therefore by His total obedience to the Father's will, Jesus was given all authority as Judge.
