EPL: Nottingham Forest boss happy with Awoniyi’s return from injury

<p>Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper, has reflected on Taiwo Awoniyi’s return from injury.</p>, <p>The Nigeria international has been missing in action for a number of weeks due to groin injury.</p>, <p>The 26-year-old came on as a substitute in the second half of Forest’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at the Anfield on Sunday.</p>, <p>Cooper said having a focal point upfront is big boost for the club.</p>, <p>“With the changes of Taiwo coming on, he was only supposed to give us some minutes, but we gave him a bit more,” the gaffer told Forest TV.</p>, <p>“Just having a number 9 on the pitch looked a bit more normal, looked a bit more natural.</p>, <p>“If Wood played today or Divock, they just know the role and then Anthony goes into the normal position and Morgan can connect.”</p>, <p>Awoniyi has scored three goals in five league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.</p>
