EPL: I have improved so much under Cooper – Awoniyi

<p>Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi claimed his game has improved massively under manager Steve Cooper.</p>, <p>Awoniyi is currently considered as one of the fearsome forwards in the English top flight.</p>, <p>The 26-year-old was bought by Cooper from Bundesliga club Union Berlin last summer and finished as the Tricky Trees’ top scorer.</p>, <p>The hitman already has three goals to his name this season.</p>, <p>Awoniyi is currently sidelined with a groin injury and is expected to return to action next week.</p>, <p>“He is one of the best coaches I have worked under,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.</p>, <p>“The way he goes about things, the way he speaks to players and the confidence he gives to the players.</p>, <p>“We had a lot of pressure last season, but you could see in his eyes that he always believed. He knew we were going to stay up.</p>, <p>“That is what every player wants from their manager. He gives you the belief that you can really get to the peak of your career.</p>, <p>“That is if you are ready to work for him and go for it. I have learned so much in my time in England already.</p>, <p>“And I can tell you for a fact that I have improved so much.”</p>
