<p>Italy legend, Antonio Cassano has launched a scathing attack on Arsenal midfielder, Jorginho who he appears to be surprised was a past Ballon d’Or contender.</p>, <p>Casssano said that Jorginho struggles to kick a ball when running or provide an assist to his teammates.</p>, <p>Jorginho made history with Italy at the 2020 Euros, appearing in seven games as they won the competition.</p>, <p>In the same year, the 31-year-old also won the UEFA Champions League with former club Chelsea.</p>, <p>He made 43 appearances across competitions, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.</p>, <p>However, Jorginho is currently struggling for game time at Arsenal following the arrival of Declan Rice from Premier League club West Ham United over the summer.</p>, <p>“At a certain point in Italy there was talk of Jorginho as the Ballon d’Or winner. Do you realise? A footballer who struggles to kick and assist, without running or physique,” Cassano said (via Sport Witness).</p>, <p>“He doesn’t play at Arsenal because they signed Rice. It is not like they have Xavi and Iniesta. In Italy we made him a champion.”</p>
