EPL: Getting my wife to marry me was difficult – Arteta tells Havertz

<p>Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has told his summer recruit, Kai Havertz, that nothing good comes easily.</p>, <p>The Spaniard said this while comparing Havertz’s early days at Arsenal to his own challenge of getting a wife.</p>, <p>The Germany international is yet to find his feet at Arsenal since joining from Chelsea over the summer.</p>, <p>Arteta has continued to praise and encourage the player despite frustration from fans.</p>, <p>After the Gunners beat Manchester United 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, the Gunners boss was asked about Havertz.</p>, <p>On the German, Arteta told Sky Sports, “I said to him yesterday, things are a little bit hard at the beginning.</p>, <p>“When I met my wife at the beginning, it was hard to conquer her.</p>, <p>“I had to try, and message, and go and go and when she said ‘yes I want to be together’, then it’s beautiful.</p>, <p>“If she said yes on the first day then it’s not that great, so it’s good. I think the crowd was really good with him today.”</p>
