<p>Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has said Declan Rice “dominated the game” during their 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace on Monday night.</p>, <p>Rice has made an impressive start to life with the Gunners following his club-record move from West Ham last month.</p>, <p>The England midfielder produced a man-of-the-match display again at Selhurst Park.</p>, <p>Rice was key as Arteta’s men defended with 10 players for the last 30 minutes of the match.</p>, <p>As well as shielding the back four and retaining possession, he made several well-timed runs forward and should have had a first-half assist after setting Eddie Nketiah clear.</p>, <p>Speaking to Sky Sports about Rice’s performance after the game, Arsenal boss Arteta said: “I thought he was fantastic. He really dominated the game. To ask him to do something new, I thought he was fantastic.”</p>
