Description

The Unchanging Word is grateful for you being here with us today.
We are studying the Book of Romans and we are in chapter 2 beginning at verse 1 today.

The Apostle Paul, in writing to the Romans, was aware of their moral diversity. So here in Romans 2, he also addresses the moralists, e.g. the ones who thought themselves to be morally superior and envisioned that they were able to judge those whose sins were openly obvious. Paul reveals the reason why the moralist does this and the consequences of it.

But then, he goes on to reveal the kindness, forbearance and patience of God even in these morally diverse circumstances.

This goodness of God should lead one to repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dr. Mitchell will speak of the long-suffering of God in today's lesson in Romans 2:1-5.
Turn in your Bible to Romans 2 with Dr. Mitchell.
--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
