<p>Scott, Jennifer, and Çınla are joined by Margaret Schabas, Professor of Philosophy at the University of British Columbia, to discuss her work. Professor Schabas is the author of numerous articles and several books, including <em>The Natural Origins of Economics</em>, published in 2005, and <em>A Philosopher’s Economist: Hume and the Rise of Capitalism</em>, co-authored with Carl Wennerlind, and published by University of Chicago Press in 2020. These books, especially the latter book on David Hume, constitute the main topics of the discussion.</p>
