#ego can literally make your life a nightmare…if you let it. You don’t have to downplay the hard work you investing in earning your PharmD, but if you use it as a superiority above tasks to help the team move forward, you will only be holding your team- and yourself- farther back than you may realize. Working as a team in a pharmacy is essential- that’s why you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Leading by fear or superiority is an option that is effective, but in my experience only works short-term, while in the long-term resentment builds while respect shrivels away. Respect is earned, and the rent is due by your daily actions, for they speak louder than words.
