Sure, all evidence of this particular goldmine is 1000% apocryphal, but why would that stop multiple real people from dying actual deaths in their attempts to find it? This is GOLD we’re talking about!</p><br><p>Jake then takes things unintentionally nearby to the Grand Canyon, where, it turns out, all ancient civilizations came from. You want Egyptian mummies? You got ‘em! A generic mishmash of a dozen or more distinct eastern and southern Asian cultures? Coming right up! A whole bunch of scientists in 1909 studying these incredible finds while avoiding a haunted snake pit? Check.
