<p>Our show returns with a review of "Joanie's Weird Boyfriend" from Season 4. We recorded this episode (and the next one) before the protests regarding George Floyd’s murder by a police officer began. We haven’t recorded or released anything until now because escapism into a faux-1950s world felt like the last thing the world needed right now.<br /> <br /> We’re restarting the show, but not because the protests are over or systemic racism has been solved. They haven’t. Just because things seem to be calming down doesn’t mean they actually are. People are still protesting against racism and police brutality, and even if you can’t join them for whatever reason, show your support however you can.
