Episode 65- The Carlise Kids

<p>Boonies is on summer vacation and Dick is left all alone with his 3 children. Ella, Joon and Charlie Carlise crash the podcast today! Charlie doesn't stop moving around, touching the mic and continuously moves the boom. Dick becomes frustrated because the mic keeps blocking Charlie's face from the camera. But Charlie does eventually give the best response to why we celebrate the 4th of July. Next, Joon steps in after Charlie becomes bored. Joon talks about her best friend and love interest Roman. She also talks about kindness, but the little black thing surrounding her heart makes her stand up to mean people and helps her when she's in danger. Finally, Dick's oldest daughter, Ella, takes the co-captains mic and absolutely steals the show with deep insight and the ability to actually have a normal conversation. Dick shares a few startling pieces of information with Ella that she never knew, including the two times he was suspended in 1st grade. A few tears were held back, a few laughs were had, and Dick realizes that maybe having his children on the pod wasn't the best idea in the world lol Big shout out to Kendall Day for stepping in as guest producer once again and filling in the laugh track that most D & B fans have come to love about the show. Have your finger ready on the fast forward button because there are more than a few moments of dead air.
