<p>When it comes to the U.S. Residency Application whether it is for NRMP's Main Match or applying to the Supplemental Offer &amp; Acceptance Program (SOAP) your Letters of Recommendation (LORs) matter. LORs are used as a supplemental document that helps Program Directors and Admission Committees to predict your ability to execute the 6 ACGME Core Competencies, and reach PGY1 milestones at the same rate as your co-residents.
