Episode 49: Coky Giedroyc

This week we have a real, live female film director here. The magnificent Coky Giedroyc is known as the queen of costume drama: she’s made Wuthering Heights, Oliver Twist, The Virgin Queen, all with Tom Hardy coughs. Also Harlots and The Hour to name but a few… Her latest film is How to Build A Girl, an adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s book, which lands on Amazon Prime on the 24th July. In lockdown she’s also been Zooming with Take That because she’s making Greatest Days, a film about their fans.
