In 1986, as a 5yr old, Saroo accidentally boarded a train looking for his brother. After riding the train for days, he ended up lost in a sea of people in Kolkata. Rendered homeless for nearly a month, and eventually put into an orphanage....he was later adopted by a family from Tasmania. Using just a few vivid memories he had as a 5yr old, Saroo, used Google Earth to navigate his way back home 25yrs later.
