Episode 415: We are to be holy because He is holy

<p>Reading 1 Peter 1 and thinking about the scene in Zechariah 3, about Joshua standing there covered in filth, satan accusing Joshua (AKA all Israel) and the angel of the Lord rebuking satan for the accusation. Jesus does the same for us, His New Testament believers. We&#39;re accused by satan, satan is rebuked for the accusation because we are covered in His imputed righteousness, and we&#39;re given His holy garment and HIs name. We are to be holy because He is holy.
