Episode 388: You Should Read the Comic

Whenever Tod sets his hopes really, really, high, they are usually crushed. Ok, except for maybe The Martian, Daredevil, and almost every Marvel movie after Iron Man 2. Anyway, it seems like a prerequisite for actually enjoying Netflix’s superhero family drama Jupiter’s Legacy is having no familiarity with the source material.  Next up it’s the newest entry in the pantheon of Disney/Star Wars properties shepherded by Dave Filoni  (Clone Wars, The Mandalorian etc.). When you put “Bad” in the title you kind of set yourself up to a standard. Is The Bad Batch “great” no, not really. Is it “bad” no it is definitely not bad. In an oddly unanimous opinion, all three hosts (including Barry) think the Bad Batch is “good” with room for improvement. Listen in to find out exactly why.
